Description of Service
Growi is a productivity and learning platform that provides:
Task Management: Visual timeline scheduling, recurring tasks, subtasks, reminders, and focus sessions.
Learning Tools: AI-powered content processing (PDFs, text, audio), flashcards with spaced repetition, quizzes, mind maps, and smart notes.
AI Chat: Personalized planning (Planner mode), topic tutoring (Tutor mode), and daily reflections (Reflection mode), powered by OpenAI.
Community Features: Social feed, posts, comments, challenges, and leaderboards within user communities.
Account Registration
You must create an account to use the App, using Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
You agree to provide accurate information and to update it as necessary.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use the App.
Subscriptions and Payments
4.1 Subscription Plans
Growi offers auto-renewable subscriptions through the Apple App Store:
Student Plan: Monthly and yearly options for student-focused features.
Entrepreneur Plan: Monthly and yearly options for professional productivity features.
Community Creation: Add-on subscription for creating and managing communities.
4.2 Billing
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
4.3 Free Trial
If a free trial is offered, the unused portion of the trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
4.4 Managing Subscriptions
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings or the App Store.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until then.
4.5 Refunds
Refund requests are handled by Apple according to their refund policies. We do not process refunds directly.
AI-Powered Features
5.1 Third-Party AI Processing
The App uses OpenAI to power its AI features. When you use AI Chat, content processing, or AI planning features:
Your text inputs and uploaded content are sent to OpenAI for processing.
AI-generated responses (schedules, flashcards, quizzes, summaries, chat replies) are generated by OpenAI and may not always be accurate.
You will be asked to consent to this data sharing before using AI features for the first time.
5.2 Limitations
AI-generated content is provided "as is" and may contain errors or inaccuracies.
AI responses should not be relied upon as professional, medical, legal, or financial advice.
We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated content.
User Content
6.1 Your Content
You retain ownership of all content you create or upload to the App, including tasks, notes, learning materials, posts, and comments ("User Content").
6.2 License
By submitting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the App's services.
6.3 Community Content Guidelines
When participating in communities, you agree not to:
Post offensive, abusive, or harmful content.
Harass, bully, or intimidate other users.
Share spam, misleading information, or unauthorized advertising.
Post content that infringes on intellectual property rights.
Share personal information of others without their consent.
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these guidelines and to suspend or terminate accounts of repeat offenders.
Prohibited Uses
You agree not to:
Use the App for any illegal purpose.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems.
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the App.
Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality.
Impersonate any person or entity.
Circumvent subscription restrictions or payment mechanisms.
Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, code, features, logos, and branding, is owned by Growi and is protected by intellectual property laws.
These Terms do not grant you any rights to use our trademarks, logos, or branding.
Disclaimers
The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.
We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the App's availability, accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.
Our total liability for any claim related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Growi, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms.
You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at
support@growi.app.
Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Growi operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
